Six Sunday evenings · Starts Sunday, October 11

Still haven’t sold anything of your own? Six weeks from now, a stranger will have paid you for something you already know how to do.

Six Sunday evenings, live with me, starting Sunday, October 11 at 7pm CT. You build one small thing, and you sell it to somebody you’ve never met.

Sunday, around 4 pm

You know the hour I mean. The light changes, somebody asks what’s for dinner, and the week ahead lands on your chest. You open your phone and scroll something you won’t remember, because the alternative is doing the math on the next ten years at the rate things are going.

I sat in that hour for a long time. Nothing was wrong. Nobody yelled at me. The number just didn’t move.

I asked what was stopping you from selling something of your own. Half of you picked the same answer: you don’t know what you’d sell. A quarter picked the one that’s harder to say out loud. You don’t think anyone would pay you.

Almost all of you work a job. So the thing in your way is a blind spot. You can’t see the skill, because it’s the one you’ve done for years without thinking about it. The spreadsheet you rebuilt so it stopped breaking. The checklist you wrote because you got tired of explaining it. Whatever people text you about.

You stopped calling it a skill a long time ago. That blind spot is week one.

What the Sunday after looks like

Someone you’ve never met sends you money for something you made. Your phone buzzes while you’re doing something else, and it’s $19, or $47, and it came from a stranger who found the thing and decided it was worth it.

It’s not much money. It settles something much bigger than the amount, though, because you’ve been carrying a question around for years about whether anybody would pay you for this, and somebody just answered it while you were loading the dishwasher.

Everything after that is repetition. If one person paid, ten is a matter of asking ten times, and you already know how you got the first one. You stop reading about this and start counting.

Introducing Six Sundays

A six week live group that helps working adults turn one skill they already have into a paying customer, without building an audience first and without learning anything new.

Six Sunday evenings, and one framework taught across them: The Short Bridge. Six steps, one per week, and you finish each week holding the piece it produces.

Why this one is built differently

I built every week backwards from a single sale. One stranger, one payment, inside six weeks. A launch plan and an audience are both fine things to have later, and neither one is in here, because neither one gets you the first sale faster.

The other difference is where we start. Most people will tell you to go find a hungry market first. We start with the thing your employer already pays you to do, because somebody handing you money for it every two weeks is a decent sign it has value.

And I’m in it with you. Twenty seats, live, and I read your week one sentence myself and tell you whether it’ll sell.

The Short Bridge, one step per Sunday

Sunday evenings at 7pm CT. Ninety minutes, live, every session recorded. You leave each one holding a finished piece instead of a folder of notes.

Week 1
The Text Message Test

One sentence, three people, one question.

You end the week with a sentence that describes the thing and three people who said they'd pay for it. Nothing gets built until then.

Week 2
The Narrow Crossing

Hell on one side, heaven on the other. Your thing is the shortest way across.

Most first products drown because they try to be the whole journey. We cut yours down to one crossing somebody can make in an afternoon.

Week 3
The Weekend Build

Friday you decide, Saturday you build, Sunday you price.

You make the thing. AI does the labor, you do the judgment, and it's finished by Sunday night.

Week 4
The Front Door

A page, a price, and a checkout you've tested with your own card.

Nobody buys through a door that doesn't open. You'll put a real card through your own checkout before anyone else does.

Week 5
The First Thirty

Thirty people you already know, asked one at a time.

Not a broadcast, not an audience. Thirty individual asks. This is the week you get paid.

Week 6
Symptom First

Talk about the symptom, never the cure.

People search for what hurts, not for what fixes it. This is the content that keeps selling your thing after the six weeks end.

Session dates: Oct 11, 18, 25, Nov 1, 8, 15. All at 7pm CT.

Will this work for you?

Yes, if

  • You have a job and the raise isn’t coming, or it came and it wasn’t enough.
  • You’ve got evenings and a weekend, not a runway.
  • People at work ask you how you did something, and you’ve never charged for it.
  • You’ve bought courses before and finished none of them, and you know why.
  • You want one real customer more than you want a business plan.

No, if

  • You’re looking for income that arrives without a customer in it.
  • You want to be paid by a platform instead of by a person.
  • You can’t give it a Sunday evening and a couple of hours midweek.
  • You want to buy a system and be left alone with it.

Two tools you get on day one

The Finder

The tool I built to answer the exact question half of you’re stuck on. It walks your work history and hands you the things people would pay you for, ranked. It sells for $17 and you get it the day you join, so you can walk into week one with candidates instead of a blank page.

OfferEngine

Once you know the thing, this turns it into an offer with a price and a promise. Also $17, also yours on day one. It’s the difference between week two taking an evening and week two taking a month.

Why me

You already know me, so I’ll keep it short. I’ve been on YouTube since July 2013. 3,748 videos, 145,000 subscribers, 9,399,097 views. All of that is public and you can check every number in about ten seconds.

On the selling side, eleven years of it and $176,000 net over that lifetime. My best month selling digital products was $8,407.95. One of the products was a spreadsheet and it made $1,671 before I retired it.

There’s also 36,368 students on Udemy, mostly in a completely different subject. That one proves the least about this, and I’d rather say so than dress it up. What it does mean is a lot of practice explaining things to people who’ve never done them.

The part that’s more use to you: my first product was ugly and I sold it anyway. Most of the first sales I’ve watched people make since have come off something they were a little embarrassed by.

People who’ve been in the room

Unedited, straight from the wall. Video and written, collected over the last two years.

The Do The Work Promise

Here’s exactly what you have to do: turn in the worksheet at the end of each of the six weeks. That’s it, and it’s the only thing I check. If you turn in all six and week six ends with nobody having paid you, your seat in the next group costs nothing and I keep working on yours with you until it sells.

I don’t refund after the first session, because by then you’ve got the material. You get a 24 hour window before we start where you can change your mind for any reason, no questions asked, and I send it all back. After that I’d rather keep working than hand your money back and leave you where you started.

Questions people ask before they join

I don't know what I'd sell. Should I wait until I do?

No. That's week one, and it's the reason week one exists. Most people walk in with nothing and walk out of the first session with one sentence and three people who said they'd pay for it.

I've got a job and kids. How much time does this take?

Ninety minutes live on Sunday, and somewhere between two and four hours during the week. The whole thing is built for evenings. If a week gets away from you, the recording is there.

What if I miss a session?

Every session is recorded and posted the same night. Send me your question before we start and I'll answer it on the call whether you're there or not.

Do I need an audience first?

No. Week five is thirty people, not thirty thousand. You already know thirty people, and I'll show you which thirty to ask.

I'm not technical. Is that going to stop me?

It stopped me for years, so I built week three and week four around it. AI does the building and you make the calls. You'll have a page and a working checkout by the end of week four.

How is this different from a course I'd buy and never finish?

You can't finish this one alone. It's live, it's capped at twenty, and I look at your actual work every week. A course lets you hide. This doesn't.

What if I do everything and nobody buys?

Then you come through the next group free and I work on yours with you. That's the promise below, and it's the only one I make.

What else will I have to pay for?

A free AI tool is enough for week three, so nothing there. In week four you need somewhere to host a page and take a card. Stripe is free until you sell something, and there are free page options. I use GBolt and you can add 90 days of it for $27 on the order form, but nothing on this page requires it.

I'm not in Central time. Does that rule me out?

7pm CT is 8pm Eastern, 5pm Pacific, and midnight in London. If it lands badly for you, the recording goes up the same night and you can send your question in beforehand and I'll answer it on the call.

When would the next group run, if I needed it?

I haven't dated it yet, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I’ll commit to is that your seat in it costs nothing, and that I keep working on yours with you in the meantime rather than leaving you waiting for a date.

Can I get a refund?

Not after the first session, because by then you’ve got the material. You get a 24 hour window before we start where you can change your mind for any reason and I'll send it all back. After that the promise above replaces the refund.

No invented numbers on this page. The $17s are what those two tools sell for today, and the rest I’d rather you judge for yourself than watch me put a fake price on.

Name and email first, then your card on Stripe’s own page. Stripe handles the card and I never see the number. Your receipt and your Finder link arrive within a minute, and the Zoom link comes the day before we start.

Do you have the courage to charge for it?

That’s the harder question, and it has nothing to do with whether the method works. You’ve read this far, so the Sunday hour I described is one you recognize. You can spend the next six weeks the way you spent the last six, and in November you’ll read a page like this one and think the same things you’re thinking now.

Or you give it one Sunday evening a week until the middle of November and find out what somebody will pay you for. Twenty seats, and the doors close October 8.
